The levels posted yesterday work perfectly within the identified short-term bearish technical framework: we are also in "mature" cyclical times for an even deeper correction. Next support levels for fast intraday countertrend operations: 15.013 / 14.950 / 14.887 / 14.825. Maximum importance level 14.762. Support levels reported yesterday can be used as resistances to sell on rebounds.

I livelli segnalati ieri lavorano perfettamente all'interno del quadro tecnico ribassista di breve periodo identificato: siamo anche in tempi ciclici "maturi" per una correzione anche più profonda. Prossimi livelli di supporto per operatività veloce di controtrend intraday: 15,013 / 14,950 / 14,887 / 14,825. Livello di massima importanza 14,762. I livelli di supporto segnalati ieri possono essere utilizzate come resistenze per vendere sui rimbalzi.

2021-05-10 14:00:10 THE LAST SWING OF THE DAX

Approximately one month ago the DAX made an all-time high: at the beginning of May the low of the period which delimits the trading range in which we are now. The weak opening of this week defines a lower high which on a technical level represents a sign of weakness. The midpoint and therefore the support of this swing is in the 15.190 / 15.150 area: it will be very important to verify the holding of this price zone. Retracements up to 14.760 area are to be considered as natural, which would not change the long term bullish scenario. The extension level we touched tonight was the last level reported last week (15.451) before the ATH.

Levels for today:

Resistances 15.410 / 15.460 / 15.520

Supports 15.325 / 15.263 / 15.200

L'ULTIMO SWING DEL DAX

Circa un mese fa sul DAX è stato messo a segno il massimo storico: ad inizio maggio il minimo di periodo che delimita il trading range in cui siamo adesso. L'apertura debole di questa settimana definisce un massimo inferiore che a livello tecnico rappresenta un segnale di debolezza. Il punto medio e quindi di supporto di questo swing è in area 15,190 / 15,150: molto importante sarà verificare la tenuta di questa zona di prezzo. Rintracciamenti fino in area 14,760 sono da considerarsi come naturali, che non cambierebbero lo scenario rialzista di lungo periodo. Il livello di estensione che abbiamo toccato questa notte era l'ultimo livello segnalato la settimana scorsa (15,451) prima del ATH.

U.S. added just 266,000 jobs in April, and March payrolls revised lower.

Hiring was a huge letdown in April, with nonfarm payrolls increasing by a much less than expected 266,000 and the unemployment rate rose to 6.1%.

Dow Jones estimates had been for 1 million new jobs and an unemployment rate of 5.8%.

Gli Stati Uniti hanno aggiunto solo 266.000 posti di lavoro nel mese di aprile, e i libri paga di marzo sono stati rivisti al ribasso.

Tuesday was the 2nd largest day of net selling YTD and it did continue yesterday, even though at a smaller intensity. Net Leverage has now dropped to the 77th %-tile over the last 12 months, which is the least aggressive positioning we have seen in a while. It is still however in the 98th %-tile since 2010. On a sector basis, it is worth noting that Info Tech stocks have been net sold for six straight days

DAX UPDATE

After a strongly bullish start, the DAX retraces invalidating all the movement made in the first hour: the first support areas are found at: 15.263 / 15.201 / 15.138. The final target of this move should be in the 15.389 area, extending to reach the ATH at 15.514. These last two levels are to be considered useful for a sell to be carried in the coming weeks.

Martedì è stato il secondo giorno più grande di vendite nette YTD ed è continuato ieri, anche se con un'intensità minore. La leva netta è ora scesa al 77° %-tile negli ultimi 12 mesi, che è il posizionamento meno aggressivo che abbiamo visto da un po'. Tuttavia è ancora nel 98° %-tile dal 2010. Fed’s Bullard says 75% vaccinations would allow for tapering debate in Bloomberg interview. In context, about 36% of Americans have been given a first vaccine dose and 22% were fully vaccinated, according to the Bloomberg Vaccine Tracker. On current pace would take another 3-months.

NFP & TASSO DI DISOCCUPAZIONE IN USCITA OGGI

Bullard della Fed dice che il 75% delle vaccinazioni permetterebbe un dibattito sul tapering in un'intervista a Bloomberg. Nel contesto, circa il 36% degli americani ha ricevuto una prima dose di vaccino e il 22% è stato completamente vaccinato, secondo il Bloomberg Vaccine Tracker. Al ritmo attuale ci vorrebbero altri 3 mesi.

Attenzione oggi ai dati Non Farm Payrolls e tasso di disoccupazione.

NASDAQ continues trading poorly. Futs have a level around here, at 13500. The bigger support is down at 13200, right at the longer term trend line as well as the 100 day moving average. Note the VXN printing new recent highs. Stress continues to be alive for the pillar of this market. Much attention on Nasdaq which is an anticipatory index.

Triangular compression and rising volatility on the DAX. The Bank of England starts to reduce the purchases: the tapering winds that we reported a few days ago are starting to take shape. An immediate negative reaction on bonds, at the moment indices are little moved within a lateral bearish trend. A little while ago test of the level at 15.120: the break with volumes of this area would bring prices quickly to the minimum of the range of April, 15.000 area.
