A few months ago in pandemic I heard about Venezuelan stock market, Bursatil index that despite the economic crisis was only going up. We know many traders who think that the market goes up only because they have never seen a market crashs. Then I find this chart on twitter & I think about Dip Buyers. Then I find out that there was a split of the index, they won again. Ouch

ANALISI SETTIMANALE INDICE DAX

I tempi sono maturi per una correzione: inflazione, rollover, scadenze cicliche, scadenze tecniche...e intanto i mercati continuano la loro corsa al rialzo arrampicandosi fino alla luna. 1#. Many traders say that volumes are fundamental: I agree but not completely. Those people who only look at volume cannot tell me why trades coagulate on a (more or less accurate) price level/area. This is helped by the price-time factor analysis that I have been studying for years.

2#. To understand the relationship between price & time, I suggest Gann literature. There are those who agree or disagree with his story & his success in trading but value transmitted for over 100 years is undeniable. You have to take the best from all and build your own suit.

CONSIGLI DI TRADING

1#. Molti trader dicono che i volumi sono fondamentali: sono d'accordo ma non completamente. Quelli che guardano solo i volumi non sanno dirmi perché si coagulano su un livello/zona di prezzo (più o meno preciso). Per questo mi aiuto con l'analisi del fattore prezzo-tempo che studio da anni.

2#. Per capire la relazione tra prezzo & tempo, suggerisco la letteratura di Gann. C'è chi è d'accordo o meno con la sua storia e il suo successo nel trading ma il valore trasmesso per oltre 100 anni è innegabile. Bisogna prendere il meglio da tutti e costruire il proprio abito.

As I said yesterday we're working sinusoidally on key level forming volume nodes will be support/resistance for medium term. Definitely affecting compression is the expectation for next week's FED % futures rollovers next Friday. Until then we are likely to stay around here.

Come ho detto ieri stiamo lavorando in maniera sinusoidale sul livello chiave: la formazione di nodi di volume sarà supporto/resistenza per il medio termine. Sicuramente sta influenzando la compressione l'aspettativa per la prossima settimana sulla FED e i rollover dei futures venerdì prossimo. Fino ad allora è probabile che restiamo qui intorno. 2021-06-11 11:30:08 DAX TRADING IN A RANGE

DAX undecided since yesterday with ECB & inflation data. The low at 15502 was supported by buyers & no longer approached. Also resistance at 15630 was not overcome (top 15639). We are in congestion: not easy for swing traders, compressed market, let's see. 15520 / 15506 are supports; 15605 / 15640 resistances. I would expect a bearish stretch until 15407 but I don't know if will be today: levels are getting dirty.

Meanwhile, ECB Balance Sheet greets us from above...

DAX IN TRADING RANGE

DAX indeciso da ieri con i dati della BCE e dell'inflazione. Il minimo a 15502 è stato sostenuto dai compratori e non più avvicinato. Anche la resistenza a 15630 non è stata superata (top 15639). Siamo in congestione: non facile per gli swing trader, mercato compresso. 15520 / 15506 sono i supporti; 15605 / 15640 le resistenze. Mi aspetterei una spinta ribassista fino a 15407 ma non so se sarà oggi: i livelli si stanno sporcando.

Nel frattempo, il bilancio della BCE ci saluta dall'alto... Aprire / Come

2021-06-10 18:30:01 ECB & DAX

ECB raises 21/22 Eurozone growth forecast. GDP at 4.6% vs 4% forecast; in 2022 growth at 4.7% vs 4.1%. Lagarde rules out early end to ECB crisis monetary plan: "We are still far away from our [inflation] goal of close to 2% & here and there some diverging views PEPP pace."

DAX now fails to overcome the zone identified earlier between 15630 / 15660. We are continuously rotating on key level 15605, at the moment it is a point of attraction for investors. Breakout of yesterday's low at 15502 could be the alert. Watch out for today's closing.

BCE & DAX

La BCE alza le previsioni di crescita dell'Eurozona per il 21/22. PIL al 4,6% contro il 4% previsto; nel 2022 crescita al 4,7% contro il 4,1%. Lagarde esclude una fine anticipata del piano monetario di crisi della BCE: "Siamo ancora lontani dal nostro obiettivo [inflazione] vicino al 2% e qui e là alcune opinioni divergenti ritmo PEPP".

DAX ora non riesce a superare la zona individuata in precedenza tra 15630 / 15660. Stiamo continuamente ruotando sul livello chiave 15605, al momento è un punto di attrazione per gli investitori. Il breakout del minimo di ieri a 15502 potrebbe essere l'allarme. Attenzione alla chiusura di oggi. Aprire / Come

Breaking macro-data incoming: Inflation rose to 5.0% in May, beating expectations. Core CPI up to a whopping 3.8%, highest since 1992. FED now has to move with tapering to not get behind the curve. No alternative way unless the wizard Powell pulls a rabbit out of the hat.

Another way to trade without passively waiting for the price level to be touched (or if you don't have confidence in the limit order) is to wait for breakouts and buy or sell on the break-in of the level. This technique is very useful for scalpers & intraday traders.

WHAT TO EXPECT TODAY

I have a very clear idea of what will happen today: the market (or rather the strong hands, institutional, hedge funds) have already decided. Unfortunately we don't know, but as usual macro data coming out will be just an excuse to make the movement. Markets are made like this and tomorrow we will find ourselves justifying "this movement or that movement."

CONSIGLI DI TRADING

Un altro modo di fare trading senza aspettare passivamente che il livello di prezzo venga toccato (o se non si ha fiducia nell'ordine limite) è quello di aspettare i breakout e comprare o vendere sul break-in del livello. Questa tecnica è molto utile per gli scalper e i trader intraday.

COSA ASPETTARSI OGGI

Ho un'idea molto chiara di cosa succederà oggi: il mercato (o meglio le mani forti, istituzionali, hedge fund) hanno già deciso. Purtroppo non sappiamo cosa abbiamo deciso, ma come al solito i dati macro in uscita saranno solo una scusa per fare il movimento e dare impulso, direzionalità o false rotture.
