Although I expect a continuation of the bearish movement as I wrote in my previous posts, the last day of month (and quarter) is usually very defensive.

Hedge funds are protecting returns, it's "Window Dressing".

As usual, DAX denied us right away and reversed the movement: from possible landing in 15100/15000 area we now in the key area at 15390!

Despite yesterday's bad close, between 15230/250 buying volumes have built up and generated this morning's pattern. Now a new game is played.

Yesterday's session on DAX slipped away without almost realizing that we were down more than 2%. Inertia has now shifted into the hands of bearish: strange is today's bounce unless its classified as the classic "dead cat bounce". Let's see.

AGGIORNAMENTO DAX

Come al solito il DAX ci ha smentito subito e ha invertito il movimento: dal possibile approdo in area 15100/15000 siamo ora in area chiave a 15390!

Nonostante la brutta chiusura di ieri, tra 15230/250 i volumi di acquisto si sono accumulati e hanno generato il pattern di questa mattina. Ora si gioca una nuova partita.

La sessione di ieri sul DAX è scivolata via senza quasi accorgersi che eravamo giù di oltre il 2%. L'inerzia si è ora spostata nelle mani dei ribassisti: strano il rimbalzo di oggi a meno che non sia classificato come il classico "rimbalzo del gatto morto". Vediamo.

The weekly candle we left behind was one of the largest in terms of range in recent months: 751 points and clear areas of work. With the change of month from October 1st we will also have a clearer picture from delta volume point of view, after rollover of September contract.

Svegliami quando Settembre finisce

La candela settimanale che ci siamo lasciati alle spalle è stata una delle più grandi in termini di range degli ultimi mesi: 751 punti e delle aree chiare di lavoro. The monthly bar instead gives another very interesting reading key: in the upper part are concentrated most of volumes and we have created an oscillation of just under 1000 points. Usually average oscillations of the ninth month of the year are around 700 points: most volatile month in a bearish perspective is October with peaks of over 1500 points of oscillation.

La barra mensile invece da un’altra chiave di lettura molto interessante: nella parte alta sono concentrati la maggior parte dei volumi e abbiamo creato un’oscillazione di poco meno di 1000 punti. Solitamente la media delle oscillazioni del nono mese dell’anno sono intorno ai 700 punti: il mese più volatile in ottica ribassista è Ottobre con picchi di oltre 1500 punti di oscillazione.
