"Yug sahastra yojana par Bhanu
Leelyo taahi madhu phal janu
"

It means that Hanuman has travelled a far distance such as Yug × Sahastra × Yojana to meet the Sun (Bhanu) thinking it to be a sweet fruit (madhu pal).
Now, these terms are the words which determine the distance Hanuman has travelled to meet the Sun:

1 Yug = 12,000 years
1 Sahastra = 1,000
1 Yojana = 8 miles

Yug × Sahastra × Yojana =
12,000 × 1,000 × 8 miles =
96,000,000 miles to Sun

For calculating in kilometres:
1 mile = 1.6 kms
96,000,000 miles = 96,000,000 × 1.6 kms =
153,600,000 kilometres to Sun

This is exactly the same distance calculated by NASA to reach Sun from the Earth.

It's really incredible to know that ancient Indians calculated the distance between Earth and Sun without any kind of modern-day instruments of calculation.

The Sun and the Earth

"The Sun causes day and night on the Earth because of revolution; when there is night here, it is day on the other side. The Sun does not really rise or sink."

- Aitareya Brahmana 3.44 (Rig Veda)

Speed of light in Rig Veda

Sayana, a vedic scholar from the 14th century once said: "With deep respect, I bow to the Sun, who travels 2202 yojanas in half a nimesha".

A yojana is 9 miles; a nimesha is 16/75 of a second. Therefore 2202 yojanas × 9 miles × 75/8 nimesha = 185,794 miles per second or 2.99,000 kilometres per second.

That's astonishingly close to the real scientifically proven' 3,00,000 kilometres.
It's often believed that his source was none other than the Vedas.

Mantras have their origin from the primordial sound Om or Aum (ॐ) wich is the sound of creation.
Practice removes all the obstacles to growth, rids all miseries, raises a sadhaka or practitioner in wisdom, and catalyzes the process of realizing and achieving the goals.

"Newton's Laws" discover 1200 years ago before Newton by sage Kanada in India.

"Objects fall on the Earth due to a force of attraction by the Earth. Therefore, the Earth, planets, constellations, Moon and Sun are held in orbit due tho this attraction."

• The meaning of these lines is parallel to that of "Newtons Law of Gravity".

But these lines are not said by the European scientist. They are said by an Indian - in Surya Siddhanta, dated 400-500 AD, the ancient Sanatani astronomer Bhaskaracharya states these lines.

• Approximately 1200 years later (1687 AD), Sir Isaac Newton rediscovered this phenomenon and called it the "Law of Gravity".

Aryabhata invented zero.

Zero is not just a numeral - it is also a concept.

• Used in computation, it was indicated by a dot and was termed Pujyam.

• Use this term for zero along with the more current term Shunyam meaning a blank.

• The term Pujiam also means holy.

Param-Pujya - respected or esteemed.

It is not based on faith and blindly believing something inexplicable and supernatural. Sanatana Dharma is entirely based on science. Sanatana Dharma is science.
