⁣In Hanuman Chalisa (18th hymn), it is said:
"Yug sahastra yojana par Bhanu
Leelyo taahi madhu phal janu
"

It means that Hanuman has travelled a far distance such as Yug × Sahastra × Yojana to meet the Sun (Bhanu) thinking it to be a sweet fruit (madhu pal).
Now, these terms are the words which determine the distance Hanuman has travelled to meet the Sun:

1 Yug = 12,000 years
1 Sahastra = 1,000
1 Yojana = 8 miles

Yug × Sahastra × Yojana =
12,000 × 1,000 × 8 miles =
96,000,000 miles to Sun

For calculating in kilometres:
1 mile = 1.6 kms
96,000,000 miles = 96,000,000 × 1.6 kms =
153,600,000 kilometres to Sun

This is exactly the same distance calculated by NASA to reach Sun from the Earth.

It's really incredible to know that ancient Indians calculated the distance between Earth and Sun without any kind of modern-day instruments of calculation.
