Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are not Gods. Actually 'God' is an English concept which simply means 'Deva'. In Sanatana Dharma, Devas are Indra, Agni, Vayu, Surya, etc.

While Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are known as 'Paramatman' or 'Parabrahman', and there are no such words in English that can explain the exact meaning of these Sanskrit words.

2021-08-02 13:00:14 ⁣Maruthu Pandiyars were staunch Sanatanis and extraordinary warriors who have fought the East India Company valiantly. After taking over the Sivaganga Kingdom, they have brought about 108 temples under its control and did a lot of renovations to them.

Maruthu Pandiyar brothers gave their lives to save a temple called Kalayar Kovil. The warriors surrendered when the British threatened to blow the temple with cannons.

Naikidevi

Mohammed Ghori who defeated Prithviraj Chauhan in 1192, had attacked Gujarat in 1178.

He offered that if Naikidevi, the queen regent surrenders to him with gold and women, he will not plunder her state.
Naikidevi attacked his army and completely routed it.

Ghori ran away and didn't return to India till 1191. He never attacked Gujarat again!

In the Rig Veda, 'Hindu' word is used: 'Hi' and 'ndu' both are used in the sense of cow-worshippers. In the scriptures written by Veda Vyasa, in repositories like Vividha Medani, in Puranas like Kalika Purana, 'Hindu' word is also used.
