Good morning DAX traders!

It was supposed to be a quiet day on Thanksgiving in the US and instead it became a real Black Friday on the markets! Powerful sell-off started in the night with news of a new very aggressive covid variant from South Africa. At the moment, extraordinary meetings are taking place in Europe to coordinate a containment plan, while the UK is closing flights from Africa.

On the markets at the moment we have losses between -3/4% with DAX reaching pre-rally levels of October, at 15300 area. In these cases technical levels work less because there is a tendency to throw everything away and the dismantling of positions is underway. When the market is in the hands of retailers (buy on dip lovers) these are consequences: you go up the stairs and down the elevator.

Doveva essere una giornata tranquilla quella del Thanksgiving in US e invece è diventato un vero Black Friday sui mercati! Sell-off potente partito nella notte con la notizia di una nuova variante covid molto aggressiva partita dal Sud Africa. In questo momento riunioni straordinarie in Europa per coordinare un piano di contenimento, mentre UK chiude i voli dall'Africa.

Sui mercati al momento abbiamo perdite tra il -3/4% con il DAX che arriva su livelli pre-rally di Ottobre, in area 15300. In questi casi i livelli tecnici funzionano meno perchè si tende a buttare tutto via e lo smontaggio di posizioni è in atto. Quando il mercato è in mano ai retails (buy on dip lovers) queste sono le conseguenze: si sale per le scale e si scende dall'ascensore.
