METAL MACHINE MUSIC is a double album made by Lou Reed in 1975. The resulting cacophony in our opinion, after a few minutes of listening is difficult to sustain and the use of the entire work is probably a real expiation for the unfortunate listener. Critics immediately appeared divided, with a prevalence of negative judgments (Rolling Stones magazine, critics Billy Altman and John Rock well) and a few rare voices in favor (Lester Bangs).
