Miracolo a Gela: durante la consacrazione si scolpisce il volto di Gesù.

Miracolo a Gela: la chiesa armerina visitata dalla presenza di Dio. Ieri mattina durante la celebrazione eucaristica in una chiesa gelese si è verificato l’ultimo di una serie di episodi miracolosi degli ultimi sei mesi. Taciamo il nome della chiesa per motivi di discrezione vista la portata dell’episodio e per evitare reazioni di difficile gestione che comunque competono altre istituzioni. A noi il solo compito di testimoniare e comunicare. Di fatto quello che è accaduto è avvenuto davanti una numerosa platea di fedeli che la domenica mattina si riversano per assistere alla messa del giorno festivo. E’ accaduto che nel momento in cui il sacerdote ha innalzato la particola per la consacrazione nel fondo liscio dell’Ostia si è formato un bassorilievo che dipingeva il volto di Cristo. Il sacerdote ha visto quello che stava accadendo e si è rivolto verso il ministrante per capire se era una sua impressione o se stava vedendo anch’egli. Nel frattempo anche i fedeli più vicini all’altare hanno visto e testimoniano quanto si è verificato. La particola divenuta Corpo di Cristo è stata spezzata come dice la parola ma non divisa fra i fedeli e resta conservata nel tabernacolo. In quel momento tutta la comunità ha avvertito che stava accadendo qualcosa di particolare. Finita la messa il sacerdote ha raccontato quello che si è manifestato di fronte ai suoi occhi, dei collaboratori e del popolo di Dio. Abbiamo raccolto le testimonianze dei fedeli che hanno assistito ieri alla messa e ci hanno raccontato che questo è il terzo episodio di presenza viva di Dio in quella chiesa: in sei mesi se ne sono verificati tre. Durante una prima consacrazione si è formato un piccolo foro da cui è passato un raggio di luce; in un’altra occasione nella particola diventata corpo di Cristo si è formata una macchia che ricorda il sangue.

Our only task is to witness and communicate. In fact, what happened happened in front of a large audience of believers who on Sunday mornings flock to attend mass on the feast day. It happened that at the moment in which the priest raised the particle for the consecration in the smooth bottom of the Host a bas-relief was formed that painted the face of Christ. The priest saw what was happening and turned towards the ministrant to see if it was his impression or if he was seeing it too. In the meantime, the faithful closer to the altar also saw and witnessed what had occurred. The particle that had become the Body of Christ was broken as the word says but not divided among the faithful and remained preserved in the tabernacle. At that moment the whole community felt that something special was happening. At the end of the Mass, the priest recounted what was manifested in front of his eyes, of the collaborators and of the people of God. We collected the testimonies of the faithful who attended the Mass yesterday and they told us that this is the third episode of the living presence of God in that church: in six months there have been three. During a first consecration a small hole was formed through which a ray of light passed; on another occasion a stain reminiscent of blood was formed in the particle that had become the body of Christ.
