The Giant Golden Fish
One day, King Manu found a tiny golden fish in a river that asked him for shelter. The King took the little being to his palace, but the fish grew more and more rapidly until becomes giant and the King had to take it to the ocean. King Manu then realized that it was Lord Vishnu, so He manifested to Manu Himself. Vishnu told Manu that in seven days from today all three worlds would be flooded, and gave him instructions.
After seven days Lord Vishnu sent a huge boat where King Manu boarded, accompanied by the seven sages and all the living beings that he had managed to gather. The world was flooded, and Manu with the survivors was traveling on the boat that was being carried by the giant fish. When the great flood ended all surviving living beings started to procreate, and Manu gave birth to a new civilization, becoming the father of humans.
