Shaktism

In Shaktism, main figure is Mother Shakti.
Shaktism contains deep learning system, with deep philosophical topics.
Mostly people see only Goddess Durga as a figure of Shakti, but in Shaktism, she is just an incarnation of divine Shakti. Shaktism mainly contains of worshipping Mahavidyas. In Shaktism, mainly Dakshinachaar, Knowledge is given most preference, even more than worship and Bhakti, however, Bhakti is also important for Chitt Shuddhi. Shaktism contains a very vast Pooja paddhati, even of Lost Sampradayas and rarest deities in Hinduism. Shaktas believe in all Vedas, Upnishads, Puranas and almost all Tantras. Main divisions in Shaktism are:- Shri kul, Kali Kul, Vajrakul and Siddhakubjika kul, which further have different guru Paramparas. There were also other sects like Lakshmi kul, Chhinnmasta kul, Saraswat, etc., But seeing thier verge of extinction, mainstream Shri and Kalikul merged in themselves. 2021-06-24 23:46:48 Waves after waves of Islamic armies were coming and Bajiprabhu was standing like a Wall in Ghodkhind blocking the pass and killing enemy waves after waves.Only 50–60 mens of Maratha forces were repulsing waves after waves of islamic Adilshahi army. The whole battle bajiprabhu was severaly wounded with swords, dandapatta as well as gunshot. On other side Maharaj reached vishalgarh where the governer of Fort switched the sides and joined maharaj and together they broke the enemy forces of Jaswant rao of palwan and that of suryarao surve. And Maharaj captured the fort.

Bajiprabhu was now fighting for 3 Prahars continuously. One prahar is nearly three hours long and that means they were fighting for nearly nine hours and it was afternoon from dawn. Several Soliders were killed. Bajiprabhu was injured very badly but still getting up each time without taking rest and fighting as he had still not heard the 3 cannon signal. He had not allowed to move enemy even one inch ahead. He had swore that till he hear the cannon fire signal he will not let his life breadth stop. And finally then the three cannon fire signal was heard which signalled that Maharaj had reached the fort of vishalgad safely. And After hearing the signal Bajiprabhu died. He along with his brother fulaji, shambhu singh Jadhav and many other soldiers laid the lives for Hindavi swarajya and chhatrapati.

As people say in Marathi “ Lakh mele tari chaltil pan Lakhancha poshinda jivanta rahila pahije”. Means “The saviour of Lakhs of People should stay alive at any cost”. Bajiprabhu and his soldiers led down the lives and defeated the Adilshahi army which came to capture Maharaj.

Later Shivaji Maharaj expressed a deep greif on his death and personally went to his village by taking him and his soldiers body in palkhi for Funeral. And Shivaji Maharaj named the Ghodkhind pass where battle took place as Pavankhind which means pure or pavan land where brave soldiers laid down their lives and made it pavan by their sacrifice.

2021-06-24 23:46:48 Bajiprabhu Deshpande was one of the Generals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Battle of Pawankhind is one of the most memorable Battle fought in the history of Marathas and Maharashtra. The real 300 battle moment of India.

Shivaji Maharaj was stuck in the Seige of Panhalgad led by Adilshahi General Siddhi Jauhar. Marathas thought that as soon as monsoon comes they can break the seige from Inside and outside with help of Sahyadri. As mountains of Sahyadri turns dangerous in the Rainy season. But Jauhar turned out to be difficult enemy. He managed to tighten the seige on the fort Panhala. Even the Commander in cheif of Maharatha forces Netaji Palkar who was called as Prati Shivaji or second Shivaji Tried hard and Initiated attacks from outside to break the seige but was repusled back by jauhar and his forces. Failure of Netaji was big setback. Jauhar was tightening the grip on seige day by day.

Months passed there was no sign of seige getting broken. Plus Mughals had open the second front against Marathas by sending Aurangzeb's Maternal Uncle shaista Khan to attack on Hindavi Swarajya. So Maharaj decided to secretly break out of seige by changing get up and proceed towards the fort of vishalgad from the narrow path of Ghodkhind. Message was sent to siddhi that Maharaj himself will come to negotiate terms of surrender. Vishalgad was also in control of enemies. Shivaji Maharaj contacted the local guardian of fort and managed to sway him by his side. It was decided that as soon as Maharaj would arrive there fort governer would join him and take control of vishalgad.

As decided Maharaj along with nearly 600 troops and his trusted Generals Which included Bajiprabhu , his brother phulaji, shambhu singh Jadhav and others left via ghodkhind route by tricking the forces of johar. Maharaj sent one of his trusted man Shiva kashid who looked ditto like him to jauhar posing as Shivaji maharaj. As soon as Maharaj and his forces reached the entrance of Ghodkhind spies of Siddhi came to know it and understood that they have been tricked. They infomred Jauhar about same. Jauhar became angry and killed Shiva kashid who was posing there as Shivaji Maharaj. Jauhar ordered his Son-in-law Siddhi masood and Fazal Khan who was Afzal Khan's son to take force and chase Maharaj and capture him. The route was difficult due to heavy Rains. Adilshahi army managed to close the gap with Maharaj and his forces near the entrance of Ghodkhind. And here if Maharaj need to reach safely to vishalgad it was necessary for someone to hold on the enemy in narrow ghodkhind pass and decimate them. So Maharaj decided to stay and fight with his troops. But then Bajiprabhu came forward and requested Shivaji Maharaj to take the half of force and leave towards Vishalgad fort and he will fight and hold off the enemy in ghodkhind with remaining half army till he reaches vishlagad. Maharaj didn't want to leave but all generals and soldiers forced him to go as they said that it's ok if they die but the Saviour of lakhs of people and their king should remain unharmed. So it was decided that Maharaj will leave with half the force and BajiPrabhu will lead the battle in ghodkhind with remaining force. Bajiprabhu asked Shivaji Maharaj to fire 3 cannon shots as signal that he reached the fort safely. He will not die or leave his breath till he hears the cannon fire. And thus Maharaj left and Bajiprabhu along with his brother Fulaji and Shambhu Singh Jadhav took positions to take on enemy in ghodkhind.

Maratha forces led by Bajiprabhu Deshpande , Fulaji and Shambhu singh Jadhav took the Strategic positions with their troops and launched a fierce attack on more than 15000 strong Adilshahi army with just 300 men.
