Praticamente tutte le religioni "buone", hanno in comune la cosiddetta "regola d'oro".
Questa regola in sostanza dice "non fare agli altri quello che non vuoi che vanga fatto a te".
Regola buona? In apparenza sì.
Non fare il male, non uccidere, non dare fastidio... sembra buona.
Ad una analisi più attenta, non lo è.
È una regola del "non fare", dello stare fermi senza fare nulla, tipico delle religioni all'apparenza "pacifiche", ma che spengono le passioni dell'essere umano nel nulla.
La Bibbia è l'unica religione che spinge all'essere attivi nel fare il Bene, formulato con "fai agli altri ciò che desideri che gli altri facciano a te".

La differenza è, come sempre, nella sottigliezza nelle parole, ma la differenza è enorme.

This rule basically says "don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you".
Good rule? It seems.
Don't hurt, don't kill, don't bother ... it looks good.
Upon closer inspection, it is not.
It is a rule of "not doing", of standing still and doing nothing, typical of religions that appear to be "peaceful", but which extinguish the passions of the human being into nothingness.
The Bible is the only religion that pushes you to be active in doing Good, formulated as "do to others what you want others to do to you".

The difference is, as always, in the subtlety of words, but the difference is huge.
