Le tre controverse canzoni prodotte da Eddie Cascio e James Porte incluse nel primo album postumo del re del pop verranno nel tempo rimosse dai servizi di streaming e acquisto digitali. Fin da subito oggetto di speculazioni riguardo alla loro autenticità e di un processo (a carico dell'Estate e Sony Music) per pubblicità ingannevole nei confronti dei fans, le tre canzoni sembrano destinate a sparire dalle più importanti piattaforme.
In merito alla questione la pagina Billie Jean ha ottenuto in queste ore una risposta dal team online dell'Estate:
“The three tracks by Cascio on the 2010 album 'Michael' will no longer be made available by Sony Music for purchase or streaming, but please note that the removal of these three songs has nothing to do with authenticity. The Estate and Sony Music believe that the ongoing discussion about these tracks distracts Michael Jackson's fan community and casual listeners from focusing attention where it should be — on his legendary deep catalog of music.
We believe Michael will continue to make new fans and it's up to all of us to focus attention on his legacy. We hope that everyone shares the love for Michael and that the MJFam community continues to grow.

The comprehensive collection spans his entire career featuring rare items from his well-known estate, Neverland Valley Ranch, props from music videos, relics from tours and yet unseen pieces of jewellery he owned.
Naturally, the exhibition is structured around items of clothing worn by the King of Pop. Besides thousands of Swarovski crystal-studded gloves and pairs of socks, many clothes Michael Jackson wore in music videos, on stage or in his private life will also be on display.
