So, this is something I wanted to share now that the ARG is winding down.

We know that stories—these stories, these games—can bring people together.

About eight years ago, two people met at an anime convention at a panel discussion. Their very first conversation was about an obscure visual novel called Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. One of them was shocked that the other one hadn’t yet played the prequel, 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors.

They stayed in touch. Some two and a half years later, they got married. And, as you probably guess, they’re us. Neither of us have had the lives we expected, but we’re thankful for the days we have together. We’re thankful that a man from Japan named Kotaro Uchikoshi still labors to bring thoughtful, caring works into the world. We play Uchikoshi games—including Hidden Bats—the way some couples go on dates.

So we were happy to find this place, where people could come together just like we had to explore ideas and characters and build a community together.
