Pace e bene
Stamattina ho partecipato alla Santa Messa dove c'era anche il rito battesimale per una neonata. Si sa che in queste cerimonie partecipano persone non avvezze alla frequentazione di un luogo sacro. Per la prima volta, in vita mia, ho assistito durante la predica che il sacerdote "rimproverasse" alcune persone che chiacchieravano tranquillamente. C'era anche qualche signora che aveva scambiato la chiesa per una spiaggia, in top. Ce ne fossero di sacerdoti che ricordano come bisogna comportarsi in Chiesa. La scorsa estate, durante un funerale in altra città, il sacerdote redarguiva chi non indossasse "bene" la mascherina, e non anche le gentili signore indecentemente vestite.

Peace and Good
This morning I attended the Holy Mass where there was also the baptismal rite for a baby girl. People not accustomed to attending a holy place have been known to participate in these ceremonies. For the first time in my life, I witnessed during the sermon that the priest "scolded" some people who were chatting quietly. There were even a few ladies who had mistaken the church for a beach top. If only there were priests who remember how one should behave in church. Last summer, during a funeral in another city, the priest rebuked those who did not wear their masks "well," and not even the indecently dressed nice ladies.
