La Corte suprema Usa abolisce la sentenza sul diritto all'aborto. Texas e Missouri primi stati a vietarlo

La Corte suprema statunitense ha abolito la storica sentenza Roe v. Wade con cui nel 1973 la stessa Corte aveva legalizzato l'aborto negli Usa.  "La Costituzione non conferisce il diritto all'aborto", si legge nella sentenza. La decisione è stata presa da una Corte divisa, con 6 voti a favore e 3 contrari. Ora quindi i singoli Stati saranno liberi di applicare le loro leggi in materia. Già Texas e Missouri rendono l'aborto illegale. Lo Stato di New York assicura: "Qui resta possibile". Interviene anche l'Onu: abolire il diritto ad abortire è "un colpo terribile ai diritti umani delle donne".

The U.S. Supreme Court has struck down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision by which the same court legalized abortion in the U.S. in 1973.  "The Constitution does not confer the right to abortion," the ruling reads. The decision was made by a divided Court, with 6 votes in favor and 3 against. So now individual states will be free to apply their own laws on the matter. Already Texas and Missouri make abortion illegal. New York State assures, "It remains possible here." The UN also intervenes: abolishing the right to abortion is "a terrible blow to women's human rights."
