I invoke Your curse on those who are oppressing us,
that they may convert and avoid eternal punishment.
It is Your people, Lord, whom they are oppressing.
It is Your people they want to drive to despair.
It is Your holy people.
It is this faithful remnant who continue to worship You and follow You, despite everything.
And so I beg You to intervene on their behalf.
I know that the Italian people do not deserve it.
But out of respect for Your little ones, Your poor, this faithful remnant,
I beg You to intervene and remove the tyrants who oppress us.
Praised be Jesus Christ.
