Nel 1977, un'azienda giapponese si offrì per costruire una copia in scala ridotta (
scala 1:15) della Grande Piramide sull'altopiano di Giza, con l'uso di metodi e tecnologie di costruzione che sarebbero stati utilizzati dagli architetti dell'epoca dei faraoni.
Dopo un anno, al completamento della piramide, il capo del progetto disse:
"Ora sappiamo come NON sono state costruite le piramidi!".

In 1977, a Japanese company volunteered to build a scaled-down copy (
1:15 scale) of the Great Pyramid on the Giza Plateau, with the use of construction methods and technologies which were to be used by architects of the time of the pharaohs.
After one year, at completion of the pyramid, the head of the project said:
"Now we know how the pyramids were NOT built!".
