The Serra do Mar State Park is the largest protected area in the Atlantic Forest, located in the north coast of the state of Sao Paulo, where you will explore its stunning trails! The province of Ubatuba is covered by more than 90% of its territory by forest, providing refuge to hundreds of species of birds and other animals. 

The adventure will take you to a trekking along the coast where one can testify part of the exuberant Atlantic Forest with its flora and fauna, a schooner ride to the island and an excursion to photograph beautiful hummingbirds and other tropical birds. 

During this tour you will get to know caiçaras local people, white and indian mixed fishermen, quilombos community with descendants of black slaves who escaped or were free, old ruins and an old prison built on an island, where it was inhabited by natives around 1550 and later became a place to shelter political prisoners.
