Chilean students demanding dignified, non-sexist and quality education were repressed by security forces’ water cannons in the capital Santiago.
In Plaza de Armas, Santiago's main square, a "mochilazo" took place as hundreds of high-school students from some of the country's top institutions walked-out of their classes.
These protests have been held almost every week over recent years, as Chilean students' struggle for education reform continues.
