Introducing genetic adoption!
Stuff on Amkarya gets complicated pretty easily, but I'll try to briefly explain what I mean.
Yrial, as her biological mothers Thalan and Zekren, is a Xelar.
Yeah, pretty similar to that blue winged lioness I previously shared (Dayleenyans if any of you remember), they share a common ancestor.
Alita was (non-genetically) adopted by Thalan and Zekren; before Yrial was born Alita contributed to her gene pool.
So they share some genes and are in fact partially biological sisters.
Genetically adopted, non-genetically adopted or biological children are treated in the same way on Amkarya. Aprire / Come
