2024-03-13 13:51:31 Just yesterday (LINK), I wrote about how March is going to be a red month, and today, we have a severe sell-off in stocks except for a few large caps. Per my system, I am kicked out of ALL my positions today except for three large-cap futures trades in which I am in profits (#WIPRO, #SBILIFE, and #IPCALAB). Suddenly, I am in a loss of 43 Lacs for March (3.5% drawdown)

A mechanical mistake I made is that I had exited 50% of #CAPACITE in February, but I recorded 100% exit in my journal, and until today, I assumed I didn't hold it.

Today, I found a position down by 14%, and it was CAPACITE. I immediately exited and corrected my journal.

So, when you compare the current picture with the one I shared two days back, you may see a slight increase in February profits.

Most money is lost when the market turns. A smart trader takes it as market feedback and does not LOSE more subsequently. Only a few would understand this, and become champions.

2024-03-13 07:18:15 I have been advising my CTR clients the same thing. Recently taken trades are being exited at stop losses, and older trades that have already given gains are being exited near cost.

This tells me the market character has changed. We are no longer in the same "easy-money" period as in the last few months.
